Unfortunately, the project was abandoned. Raghavendra was cast in Venkat Prabhu’s action thriller Mankatha (2011), which also included Ajith Kumar, Arjun, and Vaibhav. Raghavendra played a Dharavi bar owner in the film, which premiered to critical and commercial acclaim in August 2011.
Raghavendra made his debut as a lead actor in the Telugu film Backbench Student (2013), in which he played opposite Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi. The makers were moved by an interview of the actor during his Mankatha promotions, and they cast him in the movie after seeing him in Bunny n Cherry.
Raghavendra made a comeback to Tamil cinema with Jilla (2013), in which he starred alongside Mohanlal and Vijay, providing minor support. Raghavendra continued to appear in low-budget films such as Ladies & Gentlemen (2015) and Run (2016), where he appears in a cameo role.
He has recently completed shooting for his parts in three Tamil films: Kettavanu Per Edutha Nallavanda, Ivan Than Uthaman, and Kaadhal Conditions Apply. A lighthearted, airy romantic drama is currently in production, with Mahat and Sana cast as leads.
