Jordan Carlos is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on The Colbert Report and Me-TV as a co-host. He’s also worked on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore as a reporter and panelist.
Brown University graduate Carlos began his career as a copywriter in a Manhattan ad firm. At night and on weekends, Carlos performed stand-up comedy. Carlos eventually stopped doing advertising because he felt that he could not find a niche audience because he wasn’t “a typical black man.”

- He was born and reared in Dallas, Texas, the son of an OB-GYN father and a mother who was a professor. He lives in Park Slope with his wife, who is also a teacher. In College, he performed a comedic Obama impression.
