Jasper Cho was born on February 12, 1986 in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up there. He did his schooling at David Thompson Secondary School and completed a degree in Design from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
Jasper Cho entered the South Korean entertainment industry after moving to Seoul in 2008 to study acting. He made his debut the following year with a supporting role in the historical drama “The Great Queen Seondeok”. He switched agencies again in 2010 and joined J-Wide Company, which cast him in his first television leading role in romantic comedy series “Flames of Desire” (2012). Cho played a photographer, who was deployed to war zones including Afghanistan, for five years starting from 2011. He also served as an art director for television commercials and music videos.
