Divya Dutta (born September 25, 1977) is an Indian model and actress. She has appeared in Hindi and Punjabi films as well as Malayalam and English-language productions. She made her film debut with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2015). She played Purnima Banerjee in the serial Samvidhaan (2014) and was nominated for a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Irada (2017), which was a social drama.
Divya Dutta Biography
In 1994, Dutta made her Hindi debut in the film Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna; she subsequently had a lead role in Veergati (1995), and a string of supporting parts. She rose to prominence in 1999, when she played the lead role of Zainab, a Muslim wife separated from her Sikh husband, in the Punjabi movie Shaheed-e-Mohabbat Boota Singh. The film was set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition of India.

In 2004, Dutta was praised for her performance as Shabbo in the love story Veer-Zaara, receiving multiple best-supporting actress nominations at film festivals around the world.
