Antara Biswas (also known as Monalisa) is an Indian actress. She has been primarily cast in Bhojpuri cinema and has appeared in Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu language films. She was a member of the tenth season of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss in 2016 and played Mohana Rathod in Nazar. She was the main antagonist in Colors TV’s Namak Issk Ka from 2020 to 2021, playing Iravati Verma.

She was born on November 21, 1982, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India to a Bengali Hindu family. On January 17, 2017, she married Bhojpuri actor Vikrant Singh Rajpoot on the Indian version of Bigg Boss. At the request of her uncle, she took the stage name Monalisa.

She attended the Ashutosh College of the University of Calcutta, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit. She studied at Julien Day School in Elgin Road, South Kolkata. She’s been working as a model and actress for over a decade, starting out as a small-time TV actress and model in Odia video albums about five years ago.
