Basil Joseph, a Malayalam actor, and director was born on April 28, 1990. Basil completed most of his schooling at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School in Sulthan Bathery before moving to S. K. M. J. Higher Secondary School in Kalpetta for the remainder of his education. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. He is also a scriptwriter and script doctoring is one of his specialties. Basil began his career in the film business in 2012, when he acted in a short film, “CET Life,” which is a Malayalam rom-com. In July 2012, Basil released his next short film, “Shhh,” after which he wrote and directed a comedy story about four computer technicians called “Priyamvadha Katharayano” that year. This was well-received by audiences.
