• The 47th National Film Festival awarded the Best First Film of a Four-Director to “Dollar Dreams,” which was directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula. The actor subsequently appeared in another Telugu film, titled “Anand.” The film was directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula.
