At the age of 12, Lovibond made her television debut in The Wilsons, a Channel 4 sitcom. She claimed she lied about her age to get the part. She’s acted in numerous programs, including FM and W1A, both of which aired on the BBC. She plays Izzy Gould in the BBC satire W1A. She performed in Season 17 Ep 2 of Heartbeat.

In Elementary season 3, Lovibond played Kitty Winter, Sherlock’s new student. She returned in episodes 15 and 16 of season 5 and 7 of season 7.

She has also appeared in films, including as Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker in Sky1 series Hooten & The Lady in 2016.

She’s made several guest appearances in other shows, including as a MI6 agent in the 2019 series Whiskey Cavalier.

In 2005, Lovibond made her feature film debut in Roman Polanski’s Oliver Twist. She appeared in the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy. She starred in the film 4.3.2.1, as well as 2011 films London Boulevard, No Strings Attached, and Mr. Popper’s Penguins. She played Teri in the BFI/BBC film adaptation of the award-winning novel 8 Minutes Idle, as well as Carina, The Collector’s slave, in the 2014 blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy.

In 2016, she played Elizabeth Barry in Stephen Jeffreys’ The Libertine at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
