She returned to Kolkata after being eliminated in the Mumbai round of an acting talent contest reality show, but she came back to Kolkata because her parents were not supportive of her pursuing a career in acting. Anangsha had to rebel against her family since they did not want her to pursue an acting career. She has worked in Hindi films, as well as music videos and short films.
