Kalasala Babu is a well-known movie actor from Kerala. He has appeared in several popular serials, films, and dramas and has been recognized for his excellent work. Sri Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair was Babu’s father and a classical Mohiniyattam dancer Smt. Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma. While he was in his teens, he began acting in radio plays while studying under Drisyakalanjali. A number of other play producers around Kerala approached him following his performance in the Paanchajanyam theater piece directed by Drisyakalanjali.
Kalasala Babu Biography
In the year 1977, Babu made his debut in film with Inayethedi, a caste alongside Silk Smitha. Thilakan and other seasoned actors were in Babu’s theater troupe ‘Kalasala,’ which produced Thalavattom, the group’s first play written by Surasu. The troop carried on until 1980, performing nine plays all over Tamil Nadu.
