Sangita Ghosh was born in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, on August 18, 1976. Her father was employed in the government sector. Since her youth, she has had an interest in acting.. She began her acting career as a child actor in the Hum Hindustani in 1986. After earning her bachelor’s degree in 1996, she made her debut on television by playing Kurukshetra. She later appeared in various serials, including Ajeeb Dastan, Daraar, and Khushi.
In 2001, Sudeshna Ghosh made her first significant breakthrough with the Star Plus program Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand. She subsequently appeared in several television programs, including Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, Rishton ka Chakrayavu, Viraasat, and Mehndi Tere Naam Ki.
