Matt Ross is an American actor, scriptwriter, and filmmaker. He has garnered fame for portraying Gavin Belson in the HBO series ‘Silicon Valley’, Alby Grant in the HBO series ‘Big Love’, Glenn Odekirk in ‘The Aviator’, and Luis Carruthers in ‘American Psycho’. A Connecticut native, Ross obtained a degree from Juilliard. He made his screen debut in 1994 in the comedy film ‘PCU’. In 1994, Ross made his feature film debut in the comedy ‘PCU’. the following year, he made his television debut in an episode of the drama series ‘Party of Five’. In 2005, Ross received a nomination for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his role as Eddie Scott in the historical drama ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’.
