Kanika Maheshwari is a television actress from India. She is most recognized for her parts in shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, and Diya Aur Baati Hum. She is the only daughter of her parents. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in New Delhi and studied Vastu Shastra and Color Therapy as well. She enrolled in an acting school to develop her acting talent.
Her teacher and mentor urged her to go to Mumbai and encourage her to pursue a profession in acting after seeing Kanika’s acting ability.
Kanika relocated to Mumbai, admitting to both her teacher and mentor, where she tried out for numerous shows. Kanika’s hard work paid off, and she was given her chance to make her debut in the year 2001-02 with the TV series Kabhi Aaye Na Judai. She was paired with her husband Ankur Ghai on the show Nach Baliye in 2013 and was doing well, but she was injured during the performance and had to leave the program early.
She became famous after playing Meenakshi in the Star Plus drama Diya Aur Baati Hum, which was highly praised by TV viewers.She is a lucky charm for the TV industry, as whatever serial she appears in becomes a blockbuster.
