She was a finalist in the Pune Photography Contest and the Indian and International Photography Exhibitions (2018), both of which were won by Badri PN. The image that moved the judges to tears was child labor. She is also well-known for her adorable candid videos from the filming of Raja Rani. At the age of seven months, she began taking dance lessons. She served as a Bharatnatyam dance instructor’s assistant at the age of 11. She has also taken part in numerous dancing competitions and won first place in her age group.
Megna is the only daughter of Saranal and Sangeethalakshmi, both software engineers. Her father has a master’s degree in mathematics and her mother has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. They lived 15 years in Dubai before moving to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where Megna is now living with them.
