She has also acted in films such as Gokulamlo Seeta (1997) and Pelli Pandiri (1998). She made her television debut in 2020, when she appeared as a cast member of Telugu soaps Girija Kalyanam and Janaki Kalaganaledu.

She was born and reared in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her parents are both from the Andhra Pradesh business sector. She went to the St. Peters Public School in Vijayawada for her primary education. She has two sisters and a brother, Rani Manthra, Rakshana Manthra, and Raana Manthra. It’s been reported that she had initially decided that acting was not for her, but it was against the wishes of her parents. But Raasi’s interest in performing increased after she appeared in Mamata La Covelani as a child artist.

Ravi is married to Srinivas Athreyaaam and has a son named Sharath Athreyaaam.

She began acting at the age of six in a Telugu film. In the 1986 Telugu film Mamata La Covelani, she was seven years old at that time. She has acted in numerous Telugu, Tamil, and other films since.

She has acted in a number of movies, including Rangbaaz (1996), Jodidar (1997) and Suraj (1997). She worked with Mithun Chakraborty.

In Telugu, Raasi rose to prominence with Subhakankshalu (1997). She was labeled “traditional” after Gokulamlo Seeta (1997). Later, hits like Snehithulu (1998), Pandaga (1998), Gilli Kajjalu (1998), Devullu (2000) and show her.
