Shibani Dandekar (b. 1980), an Indian-Australian singer, actress, anchor, and model, is well known in the United States. She began her career as a television newsreader in the United States. Following her return to India, she began hosting several shows in Hindi television and events, besides working as a model and a singer as well. She was one of the co-hosts of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Dandekar was born in a Marathi family as the second daughter. She has two brothers, Anusha Dandekar, an actress-singer who works in Bollywood, and Apeksha Dandekar. She debuted as an actress under the name Simran Dandekar in 2013. She is a singer and songwriter who has been performing since she was a youngster. Her sisters, Meenakshi and Priscilla, formed a band named D-Major with her. For the majority of her childhood, Dandekar lived in Australia.

She began her career in British television before moving to the United States and starting work in American TV in 2001.
