Mangli, born Satyavathi Rathod, is an Indian playback singer and television presenter. She is well-known for her traditional Banjara clothing and her performances at Indian and international festivals, as well as her Telangana songs.She has worked with Mic TV, a Telugu-language online network that produces popular music videos on special occasions such as Bathukamma, Bonalu, Sankranthi, Telangana Formation Day, Ugadhi, Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, and others.
Mangli Biography
Mangli was born on June 10, 1994, in a Banjara community. Her mother language is Lambadi. She studied at SV University for her bachelor’s degree in Carnatic Music. Her father has been encouraging her to perform since she was small. Inspired by her instructors, she aspired to be a music educator. Mangli relocated to Hyderabad and Bengaluru in order to pursue a career in anchoring.

She began her career in 2013, when she was invited as a guest artist to Telugu News channel V6 News for a Dhoom Dham special event. She was also a popular personality on V6 News, where she played the role of Maatakari Mangli in the comedic news show Teenmaar Vaarthalu, with Bithiri Sathi and Savitri. She has also worked with HMTV’s Jordar News on the satirical news program.
She is presently a news anchor for a web channel, MIC TV, and sings folk music. She films interviews with personalities known as Mangli Muchata. She also appears in Telangana-related events, such as Bathukamma and Bonalu. She has recorded songs for Telangana festivals such as Telangana Formation Day. Her song, Orugallu Kotanadugu, for the 2018 Telangana Formation Day has become a hit.
She has performed in several Tollywood films, including Sapthagiri Express, Raj Mahal, Needhi Naadi Oka Katha, George Reddy, and “Ramuloo Ramulaa” from 2020 action-drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
She has appeared on a show hosted by Lakshmi Manchu Maharani in February 2018. Her song “Saranga Dariya” from the film Love Story became quite popular in 2021.
Currently, she is employed with a Telugu television station, “Mic TV.” She joined the fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil as a wild card entrant along with Jabardasth Avinash, Ariyana Glory, and Abijeet Duddala.
