Kevin O Rourke is an award-winning American actor, who initially began his acting career with stage performances. He is mostly acknowledged for playing Edward Bader on HBO’s 2010-2014 American crime drama series, “Boardwalk Empire” where he was cast alongside Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, and Michael Kenneth Williams. After appearing on several stage works, in 1998, he earned his first film role in the work, “The Dark End of the Street. He plays Edward Bader in Boardwalk Empire. O’Rourke was born in Portland but grew up in Tacoma Washington in a family of eight children. He attended high school at Williams College in Massachusetts and received his degree in theater studies in 1978 and has lived on the East Coast ever since. O’Rourke began acting for television in 1981 in the movie Tattoo. He has since played multiple roles in films and television series such as Remember WENN (1996-1998), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), The Aviator (2004), One Life to Live (2008-2010) and Boardwalk Empire (2010-2010). 2011). Career: O’Rourke made his film debut in The Dark End of the Street (1981), and had supporting roles in Tattoo (1981) and Vice Versa (1988).
