Janani Iyer – Janani is a Tamil and Malayalam actress who has worked in films mostly in those languages. She began her modeling career while studying, and before signing with director Bala to play the main female part in Avan Ivan (2011), she made over 150 television commercials.
Biography
Janani was born in Kathivakkam, Tamil Nadu. She went to DAV Gopalapuram for her primary education and finished at Saveetha Engineering College with a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. She enrolled at Wollongong University after earning her degree.
Janani began her career as a model after completing her education. She has appeared in over 150 local television commercials since then. Janani, on the other hand, said that she had always wanted to be an actress, considering it to be her “passion in life.”
She has also appeared in supporting roles as a model in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru (2009) and as an assistant director to K. S. Ravikumar in Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010). She had previously committed to play the secondary lead actress of Vinnaitha.
