Jaggi Vasudev – He is a Yoga Guru & Author. He wrote several books like Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy. In 2007, 2017 & 2020 He gave the speech at the annual World Economic Forum. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Vibhushan award (India’s second-highest civilian award) in 2017 for his contributions to social welfare. At the age of thirteen, she took the yoga classes from Malladihalli Raghavendra and kept practising yoga asanas and pranayama. On 23 September 1982, he had a ‘spiritual experience when he went up Chamundi Hill. After six weeks he handover his business to his friend and travelled for a long time and he did an effort to gain insight into his mystical experience. After some time he decides to become a yoga teacher & share his inner experience & Jaggi conduct his first yoga class with seven participants in Mysore in 1983 after that, he taught many yoga classes across Karnataka and Hyderabad travelling on his motorcycle. He donates all the money received by his students last day of the class. In 1992 he was established as a non-profit organisation Isha Foundation which is located on the foothills of the Velliangiri hills, forty kilometres from the Coimbatore Tamil Nadu, South India.

He had four siblings two are brothers and two are sisters and was the youngest of them all. He did schooling at Demonstration School, Mysore and Mahajana Pre-University College & after that is did a bachelor’s degree in English from University of Mysore & after completing his studies he started his business.
