The playback artist Miss. Ramya NSK gave Berry her start, training her to sing in Tamil. She later attended KM Music Conservatory, an intensive higher education center founded by the music director A. R. Rahman in 2008.
She began her career as a songwriter, and her lyrics and melody caught the attention of young Music producer Dev major and Rapper Jags Esan, which led to the release of an English single titled “Cleo The Leo.” She has since improved her writing skills.
Iykki went to Chennai and began recording demos and learning how to write songs, rap, and compose. nJanuary 2020, she made her debut as “Iykki Berry,” a variation of berries that are high in vitamins (she specializes in skin care).
In 2021, She took part in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 5,’ which was hosted by Kamal Haasan.
