Cathy Fithian, born Catherine Adkins was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her father was a special education teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. He found his passion working with at risk teens at Log Cabin Ranch in La Honda, California. Attending Mercy High School in Burlingame, Cathy earned the Bank of America Drama Award for Achievement in Theater. She went on to study Acting at the American Conservatory Theater before moving to Los Angeles. This past summer, Cathy starred as “Edith” in director Mike Ott’s multiple award winning LABOR DAYS which premiered at the Frame narrative competition of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Cathy is currently repped by the UTA and Management 360. Her credits include a recurring role on Disney’s hit show “Jane by Design” as well as guest spots on ABC’s “Detroit 1-8-7,” “In Harm’s Way,” NBC’s “The Black Donnellys” and the CW’s award winning series, “Privileged.”
