Andrew Benator is an actor best known for his work in the cult hit mock-umentary Filmic Achievement and in his string of national Citibank ads featuring him losing his bill, waiting on the phone while on hold with his bank, etc. He performed with the Rude Machanicals Theater Company. Benator also played the role of Joseph, on the short lived Adult Swim television series, The Rising Son. Benator also portrays Dr. Jawfy, the wisecracking foreign doctor on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Meet the Browns.

He was born on October 5, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. Benator attended Southern Methodist University where he was a theater major and member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. After college, he moved to New York City and began his acting career with the Atlantic Theater Company. Benator currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two young children. He has been in a number of films and TV shows, but is probably best known for his work on the cult hit mockumentary Filmic Achievement. In this film, he plays the role of Rick, the lovable loser who can’t seem to catch a break.

Career: In his first film, Benator plays the lead role of Oliver Beene, a man who with his best friend, invents a time machine that actually works. The two men travel back in time to make their lives better but come across some problems along the way.
