- Sial found his calling when he was 8 years old and saw Amitabh Bachchan on the silver screen for the first time. It was his mother who encouraged him to take up acting and other extracurricular activities after she recognized his true passions. He began his career in Kolkata, India as a writer and director with Blood Brothers, a musical written by Willy Russel and directed by Barry John.
- He succumbed to family pressure and enrolled in a Post-Graduation Diploma in International Business at Melbourne, Australia, under the pretext of pursuing an acting career. He eventually went back to India and worked for a playschool company in Delhi as a Franchise development director for two years (2003).
- However, he was unable to overcome his love of acting and decided to give up the corporate world rather than pursue it any longer. He began his acting career in 1992 with a lead role in a Gujarati play named Yatri. He then played the title character of Swapna’s stage adaptation of Jyotish by Devaki Nandan Poddar, which was mounted at AMU’s Mehrab Khan Hall in Aligarh University.
