When he was working for Jabong, he realized that there is huge traffic for mobile phones. And then, he decided to run a smartphone brand in India. At that time, offered him the role of Managing Director and gave him the big responsibility of bringing Xiaomi to India and starting its business in India.
He was born on 25th January 1981 in Meerut, India.
He was a very bright student during his schooling and was interested in technology a lot.
In 1999 he started his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
After this, he pursued MBA in Management from ESCP Business School.
After his MBA, he didn’t stop studying and pursued PGDM in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
In 2003, he started his first job as a Senior Associate at Headstrong and left t after 2 years.
In 2005, he joined Tata Administrative Services as a Summer Intern.
In 2007, he started working with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and worked there for 4 years.
In August 2011, he started working in DINK Couple as a Co-Creator.
In Feb 2012, he co-founded a very popular fashion & lifestyle e-commerce platform Jabong.com.
In May 2014, he joined Xiaomi India as Managing Director and is working with it for 7 years.
He is happily married to Minu Jain, and the couple has a son named Jordan Jain.
He is a very positive and lively person.
