Alyssa was born on 10, March 2001, in Hammond, Louisiana, U.S. She completed her schooling in 2019 from Baton Rouge International School & graduated from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University. She attends her first space camp at age of seven, Huntsville, Alabama space camp. She also visited Sally Ride summer camp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. Alyssa was invited to MER (Mars Exploration Rover) as a panelist. In 2018 she wrote the book “So You Want to Be an Astronaut”. In 2017 she debuted in the movie “The Mars Generation”
