Madathipparambil Seshaniyyar Venkatrama Iyer, popularly known as M S Thripunithura, was a character artist of Malayalam cinema. He was an accomplished stage actor who had received state honors for acting. He is well-known for his supporting roles in Malayalam films. His debut film was Kadalamma in Malayalam. Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam, Perumthachan, His Highness Abdullah, Santhwanam, Bharatham, and Yodha are among his most prominent roles. He is known for playing both serious and funny parts. His distinctive way of delivering lines made him a popular artist in Malayalam films. He was also a Carnatic musician and studied Sanskrit and astrology.
