Vishal Dhingra is an Indian television and film actor. He was born on January 16, 1974, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is best recognized for portraying Sanjay Deewan (Sanju) in Dekh Bhai Dekh and Naitik Singhania in Star Plus’ s longest-running successful TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In 1982, he made his acting debut as a juvenile performer with the movie Rajput.

At Indian Telly Awards, he was given the Best Actor in a Comic Role for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. After completing his schooling from St. Ann’s High School, he enrolled himself at The Daly College, Indore for higher education but due to financial crises had to drop out early. Vishal began his career as an assistant director working under Sanjay Sirvano-Shah on ‘Bhakar Bharti’ starring Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh. But his destiny turned when he was offered to act in Ravi Chopra’s TV series ‘Ghutan’ (1987).
