Sanket Korlekar – Sanket Korlekar is a Marathi actor who is famous for his role in serial Shriyut Gangadhar Tipare. This serial is a family drama which was telecasted on ETV Marathi from Monday to Saturday at 7pm slot. Sanket’s character ‘Gangadhar Tipare’ became very popular among the audience and he started getting lot of fan mails and fan following for his character. Many people started noticing him and he got chances to perform in various shows and events as well. Sanket has also worked in daily soap like “Majha Pravas” and “Ghevra No Hoka”. Sanket Korlekar Biography
Sanket Korlekar was born on 10th of June’90 and he is from the beautiful Konkan region of Maharashtra. He comes from a small town called Kumbharli which falls in Ratnagiri district. His father is an engineer and mother is a housewife. Sanket did his schooling at Bhandari high school, Ratnagiri and later he joined D.J. Sanghvi College, Mumbai for further studies and he completed his engineering degree from Netaji Subhash Engineering college which is one of the top colleges in India. He has also studied Computer Science Engineering at IIT Kharagpur but did not pursue due to some personal reasons and hence left it only after two years of admissions.

Sanket has also made his mark in Marathi film industry with his first film “Aflatoon” which is being released this Friday on 5th December’14. Aflatoon is a pseudo-musical love story that explores the journey of four young people over a span of 15 years through their own and other’s perspective. The film is very well made and it has a very strong starcast which includes Aditya Sarpotdar, Tejaswini Pandit, Rajesh Shringarpure, Swarangi Marathe, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Upendra Limaye & Pramod Moutho. His direction debut film “Aflatoon” is slated for release this Friday across Maharashtra.
Sanket is also associated with “Prasiddh” – a project to bring together the talented youth of Maharashtra who are working for different fields. He has made his presence felt in this online social networking site which aims at giving opportunity to all to show case their talent.
