She’s come a long way from exhibiting her skills on Filter Copies youtube videos to winning hearts for her part as Kavya and her scorching chemistry with Dhruv Seghal in Little Things.

She was born into a conservative Marathi family on January 11, 1993, and was schooled in Hindustani classical music by Marathi vocalist Varsha Bhave. She is a trained Kathak dancer as well. She also attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Los Angeles for a crash course in acting. She began volunteering for Q Theatrical Productions’ youth theatre movement, Thespo, in 2012, when she was in her second year of college. She later became the Festival Manager in 2013 and had the opportunity to work with a variety of performers and directors. Her first professional theatre audition was for an English play, and she has since performed in other theatre productions, including Tunni ki Kahani, Aaj Rang Hai, and others. She shoot to fame in March 2016 after one of her “cup songs”, which incorporated a Marathi song called Chal Turu Turu in a cup song genre, went viral on YouTube with over 6 million views.
Meanwhile, she auditioned for Filter Copy’s new YouTube satirical show News Darshan, for which she had a great response, and she went on to do her first web series for Bindass in 2016, “Girl in the City,” as well as a slew of videos for pocket ace. If we talk about her projects, it’s difficult not to mention one of the most successful franchises, Little Things, which she co-created with Dhruv Sehgal.
