He was born on 28 August 1975 in the World Capital of Biryani, Hyderabad, India. He did schooling at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School in Chembur, Mumbai & he did graduations in civil engineering at Datta Meghe College of Engineering Mumbai, Maharastra, India. His parents were separated when he was just three years old. They are three siblings including Eijaz (Younger brother & sister). His father shifted to Mumbai with Eijaz & his brother & his sister lives with his mother in Hyderabad, but unfortunately, his mother died in 1991 when he was only 13 years old. Nowadays he is in a relationship with TV Serail star Pavitra Punia whom he met in Bigg Boss 14.
